Treatment
Dogsgalore

a) purpose- Dogs galore is a app where you can share pictures of your dog and share tips and tricks of how you train them to even help people who are looking into getting a certain type of bread but want to know more depth into how well they train and what you feed them etc, it is a good way for dog owners to get ideas and tips for their dogs to. 47,596 dogs were left behind in council pounds last year, where they remained unclaimed by their owners. The main reason is because people do not spend enough time researching ad knowing the needs for certain types of dogs that’s why we have created this app as it is a more fun and personal way to share your experience with your dog and for people to get 1st hand advice who are interested in getting a dog.

b) Content - I have kept the colours neutral as it is aimed at both men and women. I have also kept it simplistic to fit my target audience busy lives, i have also kept the theme of dogs buy having a paw print as the like button and the dog symbol in the bottom row.

c) target user/membership - It is aimed at ages 20-60 both male and female as if you are interest in getting a pet you will most likely have a suitable house for it to live in. It is also aimed at dog lovers who just want to share their tips and tricks to help other people’s dogs.Pet population. In the uk, it's estimated that 12 million (44 percent) of households own pets , with around 9 million pets being dogs. This means that we have a huge target audience with over half of the population owning a dog and a huge 9 million dogs in the UK and many people wanting to share their tips , tricks and views.

d) Production plan/ time scales-

 e) launch date- My launch date will be on the 18th of December. I have chosen this date as it is near to Christmas so the premium package would be a great thing to by someone as a present, also Christmas is a huge time for getting dogs as it is the time for giving and receiving and who wouldn't want to wake up on Christmas day with a dog under the tree. The app will be able to ensure that people are making the right decision to get  dog and if they do what type of dog would fit their lifestyle for any time but to ensure they are getting the right dog as a Christmas present.

f) possible revenue streams (how it might make money)

It will make money through sponsors these can be posts based on what they search the most that show up on people’s profiles which they cannot get rid of the company will pay us to post the posts.

It will also make money through pay per click because if people speak about the companies it will promote that business and the same time will make Dogs Galore money.

We will also make money through banner advertisement and we will also have pop up advert videos and if people watch the full video they will get it add free for 6 hours, the company will make money through this as a company pay us to show the advert. For example dogs trust would pay us to advertise as our app focus on people who are dog lovers and we share the same target audience a it is a niche market.

Also the company pets at home would be a company that advertise as they have everything from dog toys , bedding , grooming , clothing and even dog health care so our app will hit their target audience and therefore they will want to advertise with us to get the most out of the money they are paying to advertise.

There is a premium service which charge the user £5 a month, this premium service will be add free and every month you will get a goody bag with a treat for your dog, this could include a bone, a toy, a dog wistel etc.

g) budget

The budget for my project was £25,000, luckily I have managed to stay under budget which will mean if anything goes wrong we can use the money we saved to fix it or it can be saved to use later on to improve the site or for advertisement for the site.

h) consider legal/ethical issue

If you forget your password then they will send you a link to your email to reset it but before you can you will be asked one of your security questions which you entered when you set up.

j) site map

k) Detailed information as to why that target audience will find it useful and easy to navigate around the website.

Logging in will be easy as it is all layed out and it is only a username and password. It will be easy and straight forward to navigate around dogs galore this is essential as , when you sign up a tutorial comes on and it shows you how to use it, this is essential as Karen is a working mum of 2 and will not want to spend hours on trying to figure out how to use the site. There will also be reminders when you first get it of how to use it to ensure Karen can understand the layout. She will be brought to the homepage when she logs on this is easy to navigate around as all you need to do is scroll down and Karen will find it easy to to comment and interact with people as it is set up in a easy way to pick up. It is designed quite similar to Instagram and it is used by most people so will find it easier to use it as it won’t be all brand new this will be essential as Karen likes Instagram to promote her business so will be familiar to the layout. Everything is also clearly labelled with words and pictures so will be much easier for people to navigate around the site. Karen likes to be the best at everything she does so the live videos will help her in how to better her dogs image by getting inspiration from other people and Karen will be able to become a pro at this as when she first goes to make her Live video step to step guides will come up and show exactly what to do. Also in the settings there is a comments section where people have asked common questions and we have answered them this saves Karen all the hassel of having to look online or email as she does not have time in her busy day to day life. She can also get photo's directly from her camera roll or take one to upload to her profile and add comments or hashtag.
